Verify, do not just file
A certificate is useful only when it is current, verifiable and relevant to the product or facility. Navigate independently to the issuer's official website, match the legal entity with the label and invoice, and read the scope line by line.
Record the certificate number, revision, expiry, official verification source, date checked and reviewer. Request the original complete PDF rather than a cropped screenshot. Keep it with the current label, allergen declaration and technical sheet.
